Scordo.com is a a comprehensive food site for those who love Italian recipes and cuisine, with a particular focus on southern Italian recipes and dishes. Scordo contains hundreds of Italian recipes, cooking tips, and stories about living the Italian American life. On this page, we’ve put together an A-Z Index of Scordo Italian Recipes. We learned to cook from our Italian mother who was born in the southern most province of Italy, Calabria. The cuisine of Calabria, as well as most of Italy, focuses on simple, yet superb, ingredients with very little in the way of manipulation. We think the best Italian food includes buying the best raw ingredients you can afford (including good extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, herbs, and condiments) followed by elegant, minimal, cooking methods.
